About Mark C. Schwartz

Lieutenant General (Retired) Mark Schwartz served with distinction for 33 years in the United States Army. Mark has over 20 years of exemplary global leadership experience, leading multi-service, multinational, and intergovernmental teams.

Experience

As a career Green Beret Mark has served at every echelon of Special Operations Forces, including six combat rotations in the Middle East and South-Central Asia.

Mark’s experiences have allowed him to demonstrate his expertise in foreign policy and strategic planning, international security, and conflict resolution. During his career, Mark served throughout the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa. Mark has led strategic planning and operations working with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the United Nations, the European Union, and the United States Agency for International Development. Mark has also worked bilaterally with multiple nations in developing their national security policies and strategy. In Mark’s last assignment in the military as the United States Security Coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, he led a multinational and intergovernmental team responsible for U.S. security policy in developing the Palestinian Authority Security Forces. Mark served as the United States Executive Branch and Department of State, personal representative to the Palestinian Authority. He gained valuable experience in conflict resolution while working with Israel and the Palestinian Authority to enable security coordination and stability in the West Bank.

Post Military

​Following his military transition, Mark established Indelible Alliance LLC. He serves as an Advisor to corporate leaders and as a Consultant to multiple Defense and Aerospace firms. Mark serves on the Board of Directors for Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation and serves as a Spokesperson for the Special Operators Transition Foundation and a Senior Mentor with American Corporate Partners, assisting transitioning servicemembers to civil society. 

 

Mark is a proud native of Colorado. He holds a BBA in Finance from Idaho State University and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He has earned Senior Executive certificates from the Wharton School of Business and the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Mark is a native of Colorado and currently resides in Colorado Springs. Following graduation from Idaho State University and obtaining his degree in Finance, Mark served on active duty in the Army for 33 years, retiring as  a Lieutenant General.  Mark met his wife Allison of 33  years while stationed with the 1-509th Infantry (PIR) in  Arkansas.  Allison and Mark have two adult children,  Austin who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Meghan  who is an Army Military Intelligence officer, and works in  support of the U.S. government. Mark is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fishing, backpacking, and hunting. Mark volunteers his time to speak with young cadets entering the U.S. military about expectations of senior leadership of young leaders. Additionally, Mark has a passion for assisting young adults and young families plan for their financial security. Mark supports several Veteran Foundations including serving as the Vice Chair for the Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation Board of Directors and serving as a veteran mentor through American Corporate Partners.
